Born in Rome, at the age of 8 my parents enrolled me in a Boy Scout group in which I was a member until the age of 24. This experience put me in touch with nature, I learnt what life in the open air is all about and I became passionate about mountains. 
I started with the Apennines and perfected myself in my beloved Dolomites in Italy.
After graduating in engineering, I went in search of a new challenge: I started a new career as an Italian teacher and moved abroad to explore the world and enrich my soul with faraway landscapes and wonders.
Combining work with adventure, once in Japan and based in Tokyo, I explored the Japanese mountains and after reading the book by Kyuya Fukada, a Japanese mountaineer, called 'Hyakumeizan', I set out to challenge Japan's hundred famous mountains.
In two years I managed to complete the dream of climbing them all and now I would like to share this passion with Italians and the whole world by writing a book in Italian about Japan's 100 famous mountains.

And of course I didn't only dedicate myself to the Japanese mountains, but tried to explore those of the world with the dream of climbing the highest mountain in each country!!! Malaysia, Indonesia, Nepal, Tibet, New Zealand, Argentina, Europe, Africa etc. and many more await me!!!
