IIDE-SAN 飯豊山 (2128m)

Started under rain, luckily we found space for sleeping a bit and enjoying the onsen at Yamato onsen in Kitakata IIde no Yu (いいでのゆ(山都町温泉保養センターいいでのゆ). Made it in one day following the trail up by Mikuni koya (三国小屋), the entrance of the trail of Iide san is one of the hardest to access.

Born in Rome, at the age of 8 my parents enrolled me in a Boy Scout group in which I was a member until the age of 24. This experience put me in touch with nature, I learnt what life in the open air is all about and I became passionate about mountains. I started with the Apennines and perfected myself in my beloved Dolomites in Italy.
