Accessed by night bus from Tokyo to Fukui station (福井駅), then first train at 9.08 AM bound for Kadohara station (勝原駅). Arrived at 10.28 AM, climbed up and back in about 4 hours, able to catch the 2.45 AM train and back at Fukui station at 4.03 PM. With this schedule doable as a one day trip, need to hurry up to complete in 4 hours. Climbed in May, sweated like in August, very humid!!
