Took the bus that runs from Beppu (8.05 AM) to Kumamoto, which stops along the way at Makinoto-toge (牧ノ戸峠) (10.01 AM). After summit passed by Nakadake (中岳-1791m) with its beautiful little volcanic lake!! And explored the valley down in a perfect solitude. Got back by bus at 3.30 PM from Kujutozan guchi (くじゅう登山口) bus stop.
