Arrived by flight from Sapporo (札幌市) and left by boat to Wakkanai (稚内市). A couple of spiers at the top capture my view, the sheer wall then sinking into the valley with its hard veins of ice surrounded by flowers paint the scenery. My feet thank God for taking me up there, greet the temple and go down again.
