TEKARI DAKE (2592m)

Foggy day, only a few times the sun came out, walked in the grey, probably in the most remote area of the Japanese Alps. Met Mai san and got to know that because of Covid the hut was closed. Trouble, but when I arrived the manager Kazu san, unbelievably able to speak Italian, offered me a simple food and accommodation somehow even though the shelter was closed for Covid. Under rain enjoyed the roof outside the hut talking with Mai san and got a spectacular sunrise the day after with a stunning view of Fuji san. Back down in time for the taxi/shuttle bus from Shibasawa gate (芝沢ゲート), down from Irou dake (易老岳)
