YAKE DAKE-焼岳 (2455m) (autumn)

Delicate autumn dawn in the forest, lots of ice, little snow, rocks and the sulphur of the active volcano inebriated the summit of Yake dake (2455m)!!! Magnificent view of the Kamikochi valley (上高地) where I descended by a longer route than usual due to the winter closure of the direct trail!!!
Access from Nakanoyu onsen (中の湯温泉) reached by night bus at 5 AM from Shinjuku (Tokyo) which left the night before at 10.25 PM.

I started with the Apennines and perfected myself in my beloved Dolomites in Italy.
