Long walk because no bus neither taxi service early in the morning. In a good, very humid weather passed by a bees nest and up enjoyed the huge crater where still remaining snow and ice. Helped a lady to round the crater!From Sapporo station, took a local train for about 90 minutes to Kucchan (倶知安) station.
