ZAO SAN-蔵王山 (1841m)

Strenuous ascent due to the large amount of snow. Nobody on the trail, many people for skiing. The summit that appeared sumptuous on the approach became completely covered on my arrival and the wind started to blow hard. I left and returned to Zao Onsen (蔵王温泉) by bus from Yamagata station (山形駅).

Born in Rome, at the age of 8 my parents enrolled me in a Boy Scout group in which I was a member until the age of 24. This experience put me in touch with nature, I learnt what life in the open air is all about and I became passionate about mountains. I started with the Apennines and perfected myself in my beloved Dolomites in Italy.
